1 - Time   (I★)   DURATION: C   RANGE: S   Caster reads the current time from the essence flow.  Accuracy (in +/- sec.) is read from the lvl 3 column of the Resistance Table (10.5) by using caster’s lvl as the “Target Level.”

ESSENCE HAND

12 – Force Draw   (F*)   DURATION: quarter second   RANGE: 1’/lvl   TARGET MASS: 1 lb / 3 lvl   Enables caster to (quickly and remotely) draw an item to hand and take further action at a penalty of only –20.  Item must have a clear path to travel along, but the path need not be straight.  Item must be seen or sensed by the caster.  Furthermore, item must be “well-known” to the caster, in the sense of having been owned for a month or on his person for a full day previously.  If the item is on another’s person, item rolls RR with level and bonuses of that person and may thus remain unmoved.

PHYSICAL ENHANCEMENT

9 – Groom   (UF)   RANGE: one target   DURATION: 1 rnd / lvl   As Preen Sweep on Living Change list, except is usable on any one willing target being and on any and all exposed (bare) parts of the target directly swept by the caster’s hands during the spell duration.

4 – Preen Sweep   (U)   RANGE: S   DURATION: P   With a sweep of his empty hands across and over his face and head, caster magically cleans and grooms himself above the neckline.  Visible oil, dirt and grime is eradicated and an arbitrary length / amount of hair can be made to vanish as well.  (Spell does not impose any particular styling effects).

SPIRIT MASTERY

12 – Slumber Mist   (M)   DURATION: 1 min/lvl   RANGE: T   AoE: 5’R/lvl   Upon touching the floor, ground, or water surface, the caster causes a magical, ground-hugging fog to arise to a depth of almost two feet.  Fog is unaffected by fire and wind, and objects within the fog are –40 to detect by sight (unless aided by Fogvision).  Targets within the radius (whether in contact with the fog or not) must roll RR after every full minute vs. the caster’s level (but with NO B.A.R. modification, +10 cumulative for successive resists).  Caster alone is immune.  Failure results in being essentially “knocked out” into magical sleep.  Sleeping target may attempt Awakening on self on a straight lvl vs. lvl RR basis with no BAR mods.  Otherwise target slumbers for 5 min per caster’s level, awakening only if hit with a class F, E, or M spell or if physically damaged.

60 – Mass Area Teleport   (F)   DURATION: -   RANGE: 100’   As Mass Teleport, except the spell’s range is 100’.

75 – Mass Fly   (F)   DURATION: 1 min/lvl   RANGE: 10’  As many targets as the caster’s level may fly at a rate of 450’/rnd.

SPELL ENHANCEMENT

8 – Radius I   (U)   DURATION: V   RANGE: S   Causes the next spell that the caster casts (up to one minute later) to have its area of effect increased by 5’ in each direction (the spell must have a nonzero area of effect already).

12 – Radius II   (U)   As Radius I, except area of effect for subsequent cast is increased by 10’.

9 – Mass Ignition   (E)   DURATION: P   RANGE: 5’/lvl   Every common implement of fire-based illumination within range (e.g. candle, torch, fireplace, lantern) becomes lit.  If implement is being held by a person, person’s RR may prevent ignition of that specific item.

16 – Mass Ignition True   (E*)   DURATION: P   RANGE: 5’/lvl   As Mass Ignition, except cast is instantaneous and caster may choose which light sources ignite.

16 – Mass Extinguish   (E)   DURATION: P   RANGE: 5’/lvl   Every common implement of fire-based illumination within range (e.g. candle, torch, fireplace, lantern) up to five feet across goes out.  If implement is being held by a person, person’s RR may prevent extinguishing of that specific light source.
